Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Holland that are seeking Automation Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots to control automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system issues, including hardware and software.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems, including schematics, programming logic, and operational procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for automation-related failures and implement corrective actions.
• Stay current with emerging automation technologies and evaluate their potential application in manufacturing.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automation solutions for manufacturing processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems and historian databases.
• Familiarity with ISA-88 and other industry standards for batch control.
• Proficient in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and tool development.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for IoT and data integration.
