Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure material availability and support new product development.
• Implement purchasing strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing purchasing role.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software.
• Demonstrated experience with strategic sourcing and cost reduction initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Demonstrated success in cost reduction initiatives
