Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and debug CMM programs for complex manufactured parts.
• Select and apply appropriate metrology tools and techniques.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process checks.
• Analyze CMM data and generate comprehensive inspection reports.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve measurement issues.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment and related tooling.
• Optimize CMM programs for efficiency and accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) for model interpretation and feature extraction.
• Expertise in CMM programming languages (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS) and related software.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in measurement and inspection.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with various CMM hardware and probing systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) beyond basic model viewing.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex measurement issues.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) principles and software.
• Experience with multiple CMM software platforms (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT).
