Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Hudsonville that are seeking Calibration Technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine calibration of manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
- Document calibration results accurately, including out-of-tolerance conditions and corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning test equipment and instrumentation.
- Maintain calibration standards and ensure their traceability to national or international standards.
- Develop and update calibration procedures and work instructions as needed.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address calibration-related issues.
- Manage and maintain the calibration schedule for all plant equipment.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
- 2+ years experience in calibration, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025)
- Proficiency in using and troubleshooting a wide range of test equipment and calibration software
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking calibrations.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and report generation.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex technical documents, schematics, and diagrams.
