Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instrumentation and control systems.
  • Document calibration results, maintain equipment records, and update calibration procedures.
  • Utilize various test equipment, such as multimeters, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
  • Adhere to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA).
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
  • Analyze calibration data to identify trends and recommend improvements to calibration intervals.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience performing calibration, maintenance, or repair of test and measurement equipment.
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI Z540.1).
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with various types of calibration equipment and software.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with automated calibration systems.
  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments to test equipment.
