Salary Range: $59,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for Lathe machines using CAD/CAM software.
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining processes.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
• Simulate and verify CNC programs to ensure accuracy and prevent collisions.
• Optimize existing CNC programs for improved efficiency and cycle times.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and machinists to troubleshoot and refine programs.
• Document programming procedures and maintain a library of CNC programs.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience programming CNC lathes
• Proficient in G-code and M-code programming
• Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM)
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Strong understanding of tooling and fixture design
• Knowledge of various material properties and machining characteristics
