Salary Range: $45,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings for machining specifications.
• Set up workpieces, electrodes, and fixtures according to job requirements.
• Monitor EDM processes, adjusting parameters for optimal performance and quality.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on EDM machinery.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues with EDM equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for EDM operations
• Demonstrated ability to perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of EDM equipment
