Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mason that are seeking skilled EHS Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and develop preventative measures for EHS-related incidents.
• Provide EHS training and awareness programs to all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, including proper storage, disposal, and documentation.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of emergency response plans and lead drills and exercises.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all operational activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven track record of developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency in EHS management software (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Enablon).
• Bilingual in Spanish or other relevant languages for the workforce.
