Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and assess risks.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training programs to employees on various topics, including hazard communication and emergency response.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to integrate safety into new equipment and processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.
• 3-5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct EHS training, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 certification processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate EHS training sessions for diverse audiences
• Proficiency in EHS management software (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Enablon)
• Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
