Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabricators to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Ensure all fabricated parts and assemblies adhere to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Optimize fabrication processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and manage resources to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Train, mentor, and develop fabrication team members, fostering a skilled and productive workforce.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during fabrication, collaborating with engineering as needed.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on fabrication experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Expert-level proficiency in multiple fabrication processes (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, machining) and blueprint interpretation.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of skilled fabricators, including work scheduling and performance management.
• Strong understanding and commitment to manufacturing quality standards, safety regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex fabrication issues, optimize workflows, and implement effective solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or other advanced fabrication certifications
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design review or minor adjustments
• Experience with specialized fabrication techniques (e.g., laser cutting, waterjet, advanced forming)
