Salary Range: $46,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for raw materials, MRO, and services.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices for finished goods, ensuring accuracy in pricing and terms.
• Execute timely payment runs to vendors via EFT, check, or wire transfer.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, proactively follow up on overdue invoices, and manage collections.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
• Accurately apply customer payments to outstanding invoices and manage unapplied cash.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations for AP/AR.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and experience with account reconciliation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
• Strong communication skills for effective vendor and customer interaction, including collection efforts.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
• Exposure to multi-currency transactions or international vendor/customer accounts.
