Salary Range: $49,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, proper authorization, and matching to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Prepare and process electronic payments and check runs for approved vendor invoices, adhering to payment terms.
• Generate customer invoices for manufactured goods and services, ensuring accuracy with sales orders and shipping documents.
• Apply customer payments accurately and promptly to outstanding invoices, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, perform collection activities on overdue accounts, and resolve billing disputes.
• Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations related to AP/AR.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for vendor and customer interaction.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Experience with electronic invoicing and payment automation platforms.
