Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using advanced quality tools (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA) to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new product introductions.
• Develop and implement strategies for monitoring and improving supplier quality performance and resolving complex issues.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions to reduce defects and improve product reliability.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in core quality methodologies and tools, including FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, and 8D problem-solving.
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) and data-driven decision making.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and auditing principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., R, Python) for predictive analytics and data modeling
• Certified Lead Auditor qualification (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949)
• Experience with advanced quality planning (AQP) methodologies and tools for new product introduction (NPI)
