Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain and enforce all safety regulations, procedures, and housekeeping standards within the shop.
• Coordinate with production planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion of orders and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure tools and machinery are in good working order, reporting any malfunctions.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the shop area, initiating reorders as needed.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality control standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for managing a team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a workshop setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• - Proficiency in basic CAD software
• - First Aid and CPR certification
