Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Collaborate with R&D and Design teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA) of new products.
• Design, procure, and qualify new production equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
• Manage pilot production runs, validate processes, and support production ramp-up.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process control plans.
• Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing issues during NPI phases, focusing on yield and quality improvements.
• Conduct process capability studies and implement statistical process controls for new product lines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing).
• X+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
• Strong understanding and application of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Proficiency in manufacturing process development, validation methodologies (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ), and continuous improvement techniques.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment specification, procurement, and qualification.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including managing timelines and cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies
• Proficiency in a PLM system (e.g., Arena, Agile, Windchill) beyond basic user functions
• Demonstrated experience in supplier development and qualification for new product components
