Salary Range: $57,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Requests for Quote (RFQs), specifications, and blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs using established methodologies and pricing tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to determine optimal manufacturing processes and lead times.
• Prepare detailed and accurate price quotations, ensuring compliance with company pricing strategies and customer needs.
• Utilize ERP or quoting software to generate, track, and manage all quotes and related documentation.
• Communicate directly with customers to clarify requirements, provide updates, and address any quote-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of all quotes, revisions, and customer communications.

Recommended Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly) and their associated costs.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software; advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities for accurate cost estimation and pricing.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) common in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CAD viewing software for reviewing technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to our products (e.g., machining, welding, assembly).
