Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate various types of presses according to job specifications and blueprints.
• Operate press machinery to produce parts, monitoring machine performance and output.
• Perform routine quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues with press equipment.
• Load raw materials into machines and unload finished components, ensuring proper material flow.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and basic repairs on press equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up various manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, punch).
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machine issues and performing minor adjustments.
• Adherence to safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience
• Basic computer skills for data entry or machine interface
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles
• First Aid/CPR certification
