Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine or tooling issues during production.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and tooling.
• Adjust machine parameters to achieve specified part dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to accurately use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Knowledge of various materials and their machining properties (e.g., steel, aluminum, plastics).

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks)
• Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or other advanced metrology equipment
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of tooling selection and optimization for various materials
