Salary Range: $98,000 - $145,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the high availability and reliability of critical manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA).
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, servers, and cybersecurity specific to operational technology (OT) and IT environments.
• Lead IT projects for technology upgrades, system integrations, and new software deployments to enhance production efficiency.
• Provide timely technical support and training to manufacturing personnel and office staff, resolving IT-related issues.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data integrity and ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify technology needs and implement solutions that support manufacturing goals and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement processes for hardware, software, and services.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, and systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with manufacturing specific software (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA) and operational technology (OT).
• Demonstrated leadership in managing IT teams, projects, and vendor relationships to support production operations.
• Expertise in IT security principles and their application to protect industrial control systems (ICS) and manufacturing data.
• Ability to strategically align IT initiatives with manufacturing business objectives, focusing on efficiency and digital transformation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on minimizing production downtime and ensuring system reliability.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
• Experience with common manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and digital transformation in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial environments.
