The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates for diverse manufacturing roles, including production, maintenance, engineering, and quality.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing positions, from requisition opening to offer extension.
• Partner closely with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills and fit for a production environment.
• Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, professional networks, and industry-specific channels, to attract qualified manufacturing talent.
• Negotiate competitive offers and facilitate the pre-employment process for new manufacturing hires.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for a diverse range of roles within manufacturing environments (e.g., engineering, production, quality, operations).
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, industry terminology, and sector-specific skill sets.
• Proven ability to source, attract, and engage passive candidates for specialized technical and skilled trades positions.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various digital sourcing tools.
• Strong interviewing and assessment skills tailored to evaluate technical competencies and cultural fit in manufacturing settings.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes or skilled trades (e.g., CNC, welding, automation).
• Experience recruiting for roles within a unionized or highly regulated environment.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in a second language common to the local workforce (e.g., Spanish).
• Proven ability to source niche technical or skilled trades talent.
