Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kentwood that are seeking Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Implement and maintain production equipment, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and execute process validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Collaborate with R&D and NPI teams to ensure manufacturability of new product designs.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with manufacturing simulation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
