Maintenance Manager | Plainwell, MI

Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
• Manage the maintenance budget and control spare parts inventory.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production to optimize equipment uptime and performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven expertise in CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) for work order management, preventive maintenance, and spare parts inventory
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment, including PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians
• Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
