Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Designs and optimizes manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develops and implements new equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
- Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for production issues.
- Creates and maintains detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Implements continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, fabrication, and automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with simulation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software for fixture and tool design.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and data analysis.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading improvement initiatives.
