Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and optimizes manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develops and implements new equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for production issues.
• Creates and maintains detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Implements continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, fabrication, and automation.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with simulation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software for fixture and tool design.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and data analysis.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading improvement initiatives.
