Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kalamazoo that are seeking Facilities Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment and building systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Manage facilities budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and vendor negotiation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors for specialized repairs, projects, and services.
• Lead facility space planning, renovations, and new construction projects from conception to completion.
• Implement and manage facility management software for work orders, asset tracking, and scheduling.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance scheduling
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols for industrial settings
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendors, and capital projects
• Certification in facilities management (e.g., FMP, CFM) is a plus

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS implementation or optimization.
• Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., CFM, FMP).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for space planning.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy management systems.
