Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Holt that are seeking Field Service Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in production machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
• Calibrate and test equipment to meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent, accurately.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during field service operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance) or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or repair of industrial machinery and control systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including experience with PLCs, motors, sensors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
• Certification in a specialized skill (e.g., hydraulics, robotics, PLC programming)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
