Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of fabricators, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the fabrication of complex components and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Develop and implement fabrication schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient resource utilization.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the fabrication process, conducting regular inspections.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement corrective actions to optimize production flow.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability and resolve design conflicts.
• Manage material inventory and equipment maintenance for the fabrication department.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• CAD proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing designs and generating shop drawings.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1) or extensive experience across various welding processes.
• Forklift and overhead crane certification/experience.
