Field Service Technician | Plainwell, MI

Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Field Service Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in production machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Calibrate and test equipment to meet specified performance standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent, accurately and completely.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, OSHA 30)
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) software
• Experience with robotic systems and automation
