Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introduction.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and BOMs.
• Identify and implement solutions for manufacturing challenges during NPI phases.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for NPI-related issues.
• Support pilot builds and first article inspections for new products.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) or manufacturing engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, SolidWorks Electrical) for PCB design and schematic capture.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including PCBA assembly, test, and validation.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) for automation and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root cause analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) for manufacturing quality.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data analysis and automation.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes and equipment.
