HR Generalist | Grand Haven, MI
Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records, including benefits administration.
- Provide employee relations support, addressing grievances and promoting a positive work environment.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Support HR initiatives related to performance management, compensation, and safety.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll processing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
- Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) relevant to the local workforce
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles in an HR context
