General Manager | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $128,000 - $179,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking General Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across all functional areas.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles.
• Foster strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated success in P&L management and driving financial performance
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven ability to implement and manage change initiatives.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success in fostering a strong safety culture.
