Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all finishing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Manage, train, and develop a team of finishing technicians, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the finishing department.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products, identifying and resolving any deviations from specifications.
• Optimize workflow and processes within the finishing area to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth material flow and on-time delivery of finished goods.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing finishing department, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, powder coating, plating, polishing) and quality control standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to achieve production targets and quality objectives.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with automated finishing equipment
• Familiarity with ERP systems for production planning
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior staff
