Salary Range: $86,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Montague seeking IATF Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IATF 16949 compliant quality management system processes and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external IATF certification audits, driving closure of non-conformances.
• Lead APQP activities including PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys) to improve product and process quality.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and ensure adherence to customer specific requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as SPC, MSA, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Manage supplier quality performance, conduct supplier audits, and support supplier development activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Strong understanding and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
• Proven ability to lead problem-solving initiatives using methodologies like 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams.
• Experience with internal and external quality audits.
• ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) are a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, etc.)
• Experience with AIAG Core Tools training delivery
• Knowledge of advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Shainin, Taguchi)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
