Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Jenison that are seeking skilled Inspection Technicians. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished goods.
• Operate and maintain various inspection equipment, including CMMs, calipers, and micrometers.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process checks according to specifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformances
• Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CMI, CQI).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to interpret and apply GD&T.
• Basic understanding of programming for inspection equipment.
