Salary Range: $93,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems in a manufacturing plant.
• Manage the implementation and support of manufacturing-specific software applications (e.g., MES, SCADA).
• Ensure the security and integrity of all manufacturing data and IT assets.
• Lead the IT team in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues affecting production.
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with manufacturing goals and operational efficiency.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement for manufacturing IT needs.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to IT in manufacturing.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their reliance on IT systems (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA).
• Proven ability to manage and mentor IT teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Experience with IT infrastructure, network design, and cybersecurity best practices in an operational technology (OT) context.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT projects, including system implementations and upgrades, within budget and on schedule.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) implementations or support.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices within a manufacturing context (e.g., NIST CSF, ISA/IEC 62443).
• Experience with IoT solutions and data analytics in a production setting.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies in IT or manufacturing operations.
