Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux) and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Administer and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
• Implement and monitor data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across manufacturing operations.
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems through regular patching, vulnerability assessments, and access control management.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize IT systems for manufacturing processes and operational technology (OT) integration.
• Document IT procedures, configurations, and inventory for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, GPO, and DNS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and SAN/NAS storage solutions.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, MES, and ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs) and cybersecurity best practices.
• Ability to provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for production systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or MES systems
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in an OT environment
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) supporting manufacturing applications
• Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of routine tasks in a production setting
