Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Jenison seeking Process Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations and product non-conformities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other data analysis techniques to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, production, quality) to ensure successful new product introductions and process transfers.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and materials to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
- Experience with Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot process issues and implement effective corrective actions.
Bonus Qualifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic).
- Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience implementing automation solutions (e.g., robotics, AGVs).
