Salary Range: $54,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and G-code programs.
• Perform in-process inspections using various measuring tools to ensure quality.
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms, tool wear, and part quality issues.
• Load raw material and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, G-code, and technical drawings.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss-type lathes (e.g., Star, Citizen, Tsugami).
• Demonstrated ability to perform in-process quality checks using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, etc.).
• Strong understanding of cutting tools, tool wear, and material properties for various metals and plastics.
• Experience with machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
• Ability to adjust offsets and make program edits at the machine control.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with quality control processes and tools (e.g., CMM, micrometers)
• Prior experience in a lean manufacturing environment
