Salary Range: $53,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Load raw materials into machines and unload finished parts.
• Perform in-process inspections using various metrology tools.
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms and operational issues.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Demonstrated ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine maintenance.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and experience with precision measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAM software (e.g., PartMaker, Esprit) for programming and simulation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex machining issues.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on Swiss lathes.
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming beyond basic operation.
• Experience with metrology equipment and advanced inspection techniques.
