Salary Range: $64,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Plainwell that are seeking skilled Demand Planners. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for a portfolio of products.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development to gather market intelligence.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional plans to refine forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasts to optimize stock and minimize obsolescence.
• Identify and communicate potential supply chain risks and opportunities.
• Participate in S&OP meetings to present and defend demand plans.
• Utilize demand planning software and statistical modeling techniques.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle Demantra) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and build forecast models.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with sales, marketing, and production teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced planning systems (APS) beyond basic ERP functionality.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Proficiency in SQL or other data querying languages.
• Project management experience, particularly with system implementations or process improvements.
• Experience with sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes.
