Salary Range: $121,000 - $170,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Caledonia seeking Controllers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP, AR, and cost accounting.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful financial analysis to management.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow and working capital effectively to optimize financial performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment, including cost accounting and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to implement and improve financial controls and processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Advanced Excel and data modeling skills (e.g., Power Query, Power Pivot)
• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in a private equity-backed environment
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
