Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard product costs.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and provide insights for cost reduction.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management.
• Conduct make-or-buy analysis and support capital expenditure justifications.
• Participate in inventory valuation and reconcile physical inventory counts.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on cost-related elements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost accounting efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex financial models in Excel
• Familiarity with robotic process automation (RPA) for financial tasks
