Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking Cost Accountants. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard product costs.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare variance reports.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis for capital projects and new product introductions.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data.
• Participate in inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
• Prepare detailed cost reports for management review.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Advanced Excel modeling skills (e.g., VBA, Power Query)
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Fluency in multiple languages, particularly relevant to international operations
