Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
• Develop and implement solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and efficiency.
• Conduct testing, validation, and documentation of new applications and system upgrades.
• Train end-users on application functionality and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
• Proven ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, or other industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in a programming language like Python, C++, or Java for scripting and automation.
• Demonstrated ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role or providing technical support.
