Salary Range: $57,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Jenison seeking CNC Mill Programmers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis mills.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Optimize programs for efficiency, cycle time, and surface finish.
- Perform first-article inspections and troubleshoot machining issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to refine designs and processes.
- Maintain and update CNC program libraries and documentation.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure part accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficient in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM) for generating G-code.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for CNC milling operations.
- Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T specifications.
- Experience with various tooling, fixturing, and workholding methods for CNC mills.
- Knowledge of different materials and their machining characteristics.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with 5-axis programming.
- Familiarity with a variety of CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM).
- Ability to perform minor machine maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code editing at the machine control.
- Experience with CMM inspection or quality control processes.
