CNC Machinist | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code to determine machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards using precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or programming.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating and setting up CNC machines (mills or lathes).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming; ability to perform basic edits.
• Experience with various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure part quality.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common issues.
