Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Whitehall region seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
  • Manage payroll processing and related tax filings.
  • Maintain organized physical and digital financial records.
  • Oversee general office administration, including supplies, equipment, and vendor relations.
  • Assist with HR-related tasks, such as onboarding and record-keeping.
  • Support production team with administrative tasks and data entry as needed.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP B1) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Experience with general office administration duties, including supply management, record-keeping, and supporting management.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing inventory management principles
  • Experience with payroll processing for hourly employees
  • Knowledge of state sales tax regulations for manufacturing businesses
