Salary Range: $46,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Set up EDM parameters, including power settings, electrode selection, and flushing.
• Monitor EDM processes for quality, accuracy, and efficiency, making adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
• Inspect finished parts for compliance with specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Document operational procedures, maintenance activities, and production results.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of EDM machines

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems for production tracking
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Basic soldering and electronics repair skills
• Proficiency in using multimeters and oscilloscopes
