Salary Range: $47,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Set up EDM machines according to blueprints and specifications.
• Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
• Interpret technical drawings and G-code for EDM programming.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize EDM processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in EDM operation within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
• Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges)
