Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery and control systems.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Develops and maintains electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
• Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Implements and optimizes PLC programming and HMI interfaces for automated manufacturing lines.
• Selects and specifies electrical components, sensors, and actuators for manufacturing applications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layout.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with relevant safety standards and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 79).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or automation systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
• Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., Certified Automation Professional, Project Management Professional).
