Salary Range: $72,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and implements electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Develops and maintains electrical schematics, documentation, and safety procedures.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve automation and process efficiency.
• Manages electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layout.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and servo systems.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and codes (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for industrial automation.
• Familiarity with robotics systems and their electrical integration in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS).
• Certification in a relevant area such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Project Management (PMP).
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation tasks.
